Help Danny Heal: Medical and Therapy Costs

Hi everyone,

This is Tere, Danny’s girlfriend. I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of his mom (Maria) and sister (Rigel).

On Monday, November 4, at around 6:00 am, Danny was on his motorcycle on his way to work when he was struck by a vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital where they informed us that he had lacerations to his kidney and liver. They informed us that he sustained serious injuries to his lower body. Danny had both legs broken and required emergency surgery to repair and add rods to his broken femurs. He is currently still in the intensive care unit to monitor his heart rate and blood pressure.

He will need extensive at-home care once he is discharged and months of therapy to regain strength in his legs. I am creating this GoFundMe to help lower their worries about medical bills and therapy bills that won’t be covered by medical. Anything is appreciated. Thank you all.

Esta es Tere, la novia de Danny. Estoy iniciando este GoFundMe en nombre de su mamá (María) y su hermana (Rigel).

El lunes 4 de noviembre, alrededor de las 6:00 am, Danny iba en su motocicleta camino al trabajo cuando fue atropellado por un vehículo. Lo llevaron de urgencia al hospital donde nos informaron que tenía laceraciones en el riñón y el hígado. Nos informaron que sufrió graves heridas en la parte inferior del cuerpo. Danny tenía ambas piernas rotas y requirió cirugía de emergencia para reparar y agregar varillas a sus fémures rotos. Actualmente todavía se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados intensivos para controlar su frecuencia cardíaca y presión arterial.

Necesitará cuidados intensivos en casa una vez que le den el alta y meses de terapia para recuperar la fuerza en sus piernas. Estoy creando este GoFundMe para ayudar a reducir sus preocupaciones sobre las facturas médicas y de terapia que no estarán cubiertas por el seguro médico. Cualquier cosa se agradece. Gracias a todos.
