Thursday 9/10: Danny was seen by a family-recommended vet & surgeon in Long Island, NY. While his injuries were worse than expected and the surgeon had to work to bring him back as his oxygen dropped, he's resilient and is doing great today. The next few days will be critical for him to hopefully make a full recovery and be discharged. My name is Joanna, and I’m asking for help for our beloved local deli cat, Danny (Nex). On Monday, Danny was hit by a car while chasing a bird, and while he is still alive, he is struggling badly in his current state. Seeing him like this has been heartbreaking, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure he gets the care he needs right away. Danny means so much to the neighborhood, and this sudden emergency has left us facing medical expenses the owners were not prepared for.
