As you may already know, our brother Danny has recently been diagnosed with throat cancer (squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsil). Danny and Judy are a single income family with 4 children. This has been a time of significant stress for them. Not only are they having to carry the burden of the cancer diagnosis, while caring and providing for their children, they are also having to be away from their children at times as they travel away from home for treatment. The added financial burden of having to travel for medical treatment while losing income due to time off work to receive the treatment adds another stressor for them to worry about. It is always difficult to ask for help, so we have decided to ask on their behalf. If anyone feels compelled to give anything to help them ease the financial portion of this burden and focus on healing and the wellbeing of their family, please feel free to do so here.
