Our family is reaching out to ask for support for my youngest brother, Danny, during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

At 30 years old, Danny recently experienced a mini stroke (TIA) early last month while working at Forbes Hospital. As doctors continue to monitor his recovery, they have found that he still has 95% blockage in his carotid artery, and he is currently being treated with blood thinners while his medical team determines the safest path forward.

Because of this, Danny has had to significantly reduce the amount of hours he is working, creating significant financial strain for him and his family. As an EMT and volunteer firefighter, Danny has always been someone who shows up for others during their hardest moments. Now he is facing his own medical battle while trying to navigate the stress of lost income, ongoing medical appointments, and uncertainty about what comes next.

Danny is married to his wife, Lindsey, and together they are raising two wonderful children, Blake and Brinley.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease that burden and give Danny and his family some breathing room while he focuses on his health and recovery. Our goal of $12,000 will help cover essential monthly expenses, household bills, and medical costs over as he works toward recovering.
