Hi, I'm Danisha – also known as the mother who took a fall down the stairs. In hindsight, it seems so simple to have avoided, but here I am, ready to share my story. Being a single mother is tough, and I never asked for this life, but every day I do my best to keep pushing forward.

It was supposed to be a simple errand – just grabbing some milk for my kids before the snowstorm hit. But in an instant, I slipped on a flight of icy stairs with my infant in my arms, and that fall set me back in ways I never anticipated.
