Help Dani's Household Replace Their Totaled Car

My name is Dani.

This morning, one of my nesting partners was in a collision with a deer on their way to work. They are shaken but miraculously unharmed. The car, however, is completely totaled.

After a year of being tapped out by one emergency after another (unexpected medical bills, a damaged roof after the April storms, other car issues, etc.), we are at the point where we need to decide between a new car or food. To say that we will be living lean for the months to come is putting it mildly.

We are asking for help replacing the funds we are going to have to take out of our limited savings and credit cards to replace our car (we can only afford one for the household at the moment, making this accident devastating). Please help with whatever you can spare. Even $5 is enough to buy a simple meal, or could bolster a credit card payment. Anything will help right now.
