Hi, my name is Ellen and I’m reaching out to ask for help—not for myself but on the behalf of a lovely man called Danilo who was a guide on my boat trip in the Philippines.

Danilo’s mother has been in and out of the hospital since June due to heart failure. Doctors have told him that medicine alone is no longer enough—she urgently needs surgery to survive. Danilo has been doing everything he can, caring for her full-time in Puerto Princesa and trying to raise money on his own, but the cost of treatment is far beyond what he can manage alone.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to Danilo to cover his mother’s medication, hospital stays, and eventually, her life-saving operation.
