Help Danika Catch Up and Avoid Homelessness
Donation protected
Greetings. My name is Danika Borruso. I am a 54-year-old transgender woman living in New York. I have been transitioning from my gender at birth to female for almost five years now. I have been living in subsidized low-income long-term housing since April 2021 happily. I work supporting adults with disabilities as a day job, and I am also a part-time artist with a degree in studio art.
I am facing life and financial challenges at this time. I am raising money to catch up on bills and secure my home, car, health, and life for now and the future.
My main focus right now is avoiding eviction. I have been struggling to meet all bills and am currently 2 months behind on rent. I recently received a promotion at work and will be starting in that role soon. I will be able to handle my finances once that settles in and I just need to get through a couple of months without losing housing. My rent is less than 700 dollars a month, yet between car payments and all insurance, gas, medical, phone, and the rest, I have been coming up short.
I am right at the edge of making it in life but in threat of losing everything I have worked for the past 4 years.
Please consider donating so I may proceed without becoming homeless in the process.
