Help Daniel's Accident Recovery and Family Needs

Hi, my name is Lydia and I am Daniel's girlfriend and the mother of our son, Everett. Most of y'all already know that on Tuesday, June 11th, Daniel was in a hit-and-run accident on 610 while riding his motorcycle to work. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance where they discovered that his right shoulder was severely broken, as well as his left ring finger. Due to the severity of both breaks causing significant swelling, Daniel had to wait a week before a trauma surgeon would be able to work on him. Thankfully Daniel was referred to a fantastic trauma surgeon that was able to put Daniel back together again with two pins in his finger, that will be removed 3 weeks later, and a plate with twelve screws in his shoulder. Given the news that Daniel's surgery went well and the surgeon's confidence that he will heal amazingly we were also given the news that it will be 3 months until Daniel will have full use of his shoulder. Due to Daniel having a physically demanding job, that he has held for the last 3 years, this means he will not be able to work during his 3 months of healing. This also means we will not have money coming in to pay bills as this is the only income we have for our household. I myself am a stay at home mother that takes care of our one year old. And since Daniel has no use of both of his hands (one in a splint and the other in a sling), I now take care of him as well.
Two weeks before Daniel's motorcycle accident our vehicles transmission failed which is the reason Daniel was riding the motorcycle in morning traffic to work that morning. The cost to replace the transmission is more than what the vehicle is worth. Therefore, the money in our savings (that is quickly dwindling down) will all go towards another vehicle.
We are not the type of people to ask or beg for money, but we have come to the understanding that we need help with the medical bills and the cost of living (even with us cutting out expenses we don't necessarily need). We also understand that $20,000 is alot to ask for, but this is a calculation for the next 5 to 6 months of our living cost as well as Daniel's medical bills. Daniel's position at his job will still be waiting for him once the doctor clears him medically.
We are entirely grateful that Daniel came out of this accident alive with only broken bones. We thank God for that! But, this accident has hurt us in more ways than just physically.
