Our beautiful friend, Danielle, is in tremendous need of prayers and support! On July 31st after hours of working and a long drive Danielle arrived late in the night at her friends house in Long Island where she had a terrible fall which resulted in a C4 fracture. Her friend had to perform CPR prior to the ambulance arriving. Unfortunately when we arrived to the hospital, which is over 5 hours away from her family, we were told that she was now a quadriplegic and unable to breath without a ventilator and currently on life support in ICU. Since then Danielle has had many surgeries and procedures to try and make her comfortable and keep her alive, but they have all come with many set backs. At this time Danielle needs another miracle! The hospital is unable to operate on her neck, but she has been approved for a transfer to a facility where she can start receiving intervention and healing! We are pursuing other options once Danielle gets transferred. We desperately need technology to help her communicate because at this time she is unable to speak and loved ones and medical staff alike are left to attempt to read her lips . This has been extremely tolling on Danielle financially and all who love and care for her. We are concerned about her health insurance and know COBRA will be very expensive. She needs around the clock skilled care, an ambulance transfer, and now being moved to a specialty hospital, in Pennsylvania. Where she will continue extensive care, initial therapy to help her learn to breath on her own again among many other obstacles she is going to have to overcome. We are optimistic that she will be able to come home soon but that will come with many hurdles to get the house accessible for Danielle.

Anyone that knows Danielle knows she is the first one to promote and encourage a friend no matter their need. Danielle brings so much light and love and even on her worst day she loves and cares for all her friends and family. We know that light is still in her but she needs our help right now! She has been unable to talk/communicate effectively but each message she receives makes her smile and every smile is a huge blessing! Please share this and help Danielle however you can.
