Just two days before Christmas, Danielle and her dog Yogi experienced a terrifying ordeal when two unleashed dogs entered their backyard and viciously attacked them. In her effort to protect Yogi, Danielle suffered serious bite wounds to her left hand, leaving her unable to move her thumb due to the depth of the punctures. Despite her own injuries, Danielle rushed Yogi to the emergency vet, where it became clear just how severe his wounds were. The vet described the attack as extremely vicious, and Yogi had to be sedated so the full extent of his injuries could be assessed. He required stitches, and some of his wounds were so deep that drains had to be placed to help with healing.

This heartbreaking event happened right before the holidays, and Danielle will not be able to spend Christmas with her family as she needs to stay home to care for Yogi during his recovery. The aftermath of this attack has left both Danielle and Yogi facing significant medical challenges. The emergency vet bill for Yogi, along with Danielle's own emergency room visit, have created unexpected financial strain. There may also be additional follow-up visits and treatments needed for both of them as they recover from this traumatic event.

Any help you can offer will be truly appreciated to support Danielle and Yogi on their road to recovery. Your kindness and generosity mean so much during this difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation to help them heal and move forward.
