Help Danielle Recover From Surgery!

Our dear friend Danielle (single mama, dancer, musician, and director of Baksana Ensemble) needs help recovering from surgery.

Danielle entered the hospital on December 28th, 2023 with a collapsed lung. After several failed treatments and investigations as to what was causing this, she found out that it was endometriosis. Part of her right lung and lower diaphragm have been removed and she is now working through recovery to make sure her lung will fully re-inflate and stay up on it's own. She is working on breathing and sitting, and eventually standing and walking.

The surgery was successful and Danielle is now recovering, but we want to make sure her bills are taken care of during her recovery process.

We, the members of Baksana Ensemble, are raising $10,000 to help Danielle pay some of her medical expenses, as well as living expenses, like rent, utilities, and to take care of her during a few months of recovery time while she is not able to work and being mama to her wonderful daughter.

We want to see this beautiful, vivacious dancer and musician back on stage sharing stories, dance, and music with everyone and with your help we can do so.
