Help Danielle Overcome Her Lyme Disease Battle

Our daughter Danielle was bitten by a tick when she was young. The bite was undiagnosed until 2013.

Due to surgeries, it was revealed that Danielle had a compromised immune system. Frightening symptoms emerged including gasping for air, severe heart pain and palpitations, numbness, and muscle pain. This resulted in numerous trips to the ER over a two-year period. When Danielle and her family moved from Japan to North Carolina in 2015 because of her illness, God opened the door for her to see a medical practitioner who provided a diagnosis of Lyme disease and co-infections. Because the disease had been left undiagnosed and untreated for so many years, it had been brewing in her body all that time, becoming difficult to treat.

She went down a long and difficult road of treatment which included antibiotics and naturopathic treatments. We believe this medical professional saved Danielle’s life at the time, but the Lyme disease was not eradicated.

Danielle has been fighting valiantly for many years. She has been to conventional doctors including cardiologists, neurologists, pain management specialists, dermatologists, ENTs, and endocrinologists. Because conventional doctors have not been able to help her, since Lyme is not their specialty, she has relentlessly researched and tried to treat herself. Recently when she developed an additional, very concerning symptom of arm tremors, it was evident it was time to seek help from practitioners who specialize in treating Lyme disease. Unfortunately, the successful ones do not accept conventional insurance, which means all payments are out of pocket and can quickly become very costly.

As her parents, we are doing what we can for her financially*, but we cannot fund her entire treatment, and we would love for her and her family to know relief from her persistent symptoms. She has grown weary of fighting on her own and at this point desperately needs professional help so that she can live a life free of what has developed into debilitating symptoms. We are praying God would raise warriors who would fight alongside Danielle through prayer and heartfelt financial giving* so that she can know freedom from this disease that has made her life so difficult for so many years.
