On October 6, 2021 our good friend Danielle Senteneri heard the words no one ever wants to hear. She was diagnosed with breast cancer after an abnormal mammogram and follow up biopsy.

 

On November 9, 2021 Danielle will undergo a double mastectomy leaving her unable to work for an unknown period of time while she recovers.

 

As we all know, life doesn’t stop when someone gets sick. In addition to working full time, Danielle is a single mother to two teenagers.  

While she will have some support, a large part of her income comes from producing transcripts, which she will be unable to do while she recovers. She will also incur additional medical expenses she was not planning for.

Not knowing how long she’ll be out of work and if she’ll be able to meet all of her obligations has created an extra burden for Danielle.

 

Those who know Danielle, know how strong and fiercely independent she is. But even the strongest sometimes need help.
