Hi everyone,
My name is Barbara and I’m creating this on behalf of my friend Danielle, a local small business owner who has been affected by the recent Northwood Plaza fire.
Danielle has spent the past 9 years building her business and serving her clients with so much care and dedication. Like many others impacted, she has suddenly lost her place to work and her ability to earn an income.
While some of her tools and supplies may be salvageable, the reality is that she is now faced with the overwhelming task of finding a new space and covering the costs that come with relocating and setting up again.
As many people know, finding suitable commercial space and meeting all the requirements for a salon is not quick or inexpensive.
At this time, there are still many unknowns, including the timeline and outcome of insurance, which can take a while to process. In the meantime, these expenses fall directly on her.
There are multiple businesses affected by this fire, and a community fundraiser is being held on May 11th from 5–8 PM at the Hart Mall to support everyone involved. Danielle will be part of that, and we encourage anyone who can to attend and support all of the local businesses impacted.
For those who have been asking how they can help Danielle directly, this is one way to do so. Any support....whether through a donation or simply sharing this page would mean so much and help her take the next steps toward getting back on her feet.
Danielle is someone who has always shown up for her clients and community, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
