Help Danielle Johnson Heal and Recover

My name is Lina and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of our lovely friend Danielle Johnson.
On Friday August 16th, Danielle noticed a mark on her abdomen that she didn't think much of. Since she has persistent skin allergies, she assumed it to be just some irritation. Little did she know, it was a spider bite that would only get worse in the coming days. Come Sunday morning, Danielle had a fever and could barely get out of bed. Once when she did, she fainted, hitting her head on the corner of a table and soon being rushed to the ER.
Danielle was admitted to the hospital, where she stayed for the next nine days. She was at first diagnosed with cellulitis, but antibiotics failed to stop the spread of the infection. This resulted in surgery to remove infected tissue. Once they operated, the surgeon realized the infection had spread so far that it reached her muscle. This resulted in a 7-inch wide by 2-inch deep wound in her abdomen.
The recovery for this includes a wound vac, which is a machine that essentially sucks the infection out. Danielle will be on this machine for the next month, and the expected recovery time is between two and four months.
Danielle cannot return to work for at least a few months. To add insult to injury, poor Danielle spent her birthday in the hospital and was not released until what was supposed to be her first day of her final semester of school. Since being released, she made the tough decision to take this semester off as it has the most difficult coursework, and has instead chosen to focus on her recovery.
We are kindly asking for help to pay Danielle's medical bills as well as a couple of months bills while she is out of work and waiting on (meager) disability payments. We all know Danielle is such a kind and generous soul. She is always thinking of others, giving gifts and lighting up the room with her bright personality. I hope we can all come together to support her in this situation that has completely upended her life for the time being.
While in recovery, Danielle will be working on a few creative projects. She says these projects are more to keep her sane than anything. That being said, we would love to gift a few of those projects to the top donors as a symbol of her appreciation! The top three donors and the top three sharers will receive a lovely handmade gift from Danielle as a token of her appreciation.
