Help Danielle Focus on Healing

Howdy, y'all. I'm Anna, and I've had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Danielle Pontarelli over the last few years. In that time, she's proven to be kind, hardworking, responsible, creative, and hands down the best dancer on staff. Her infectious laugh and focus on making folks happy have made Dani everyone's favorite bartender at Wolcott Tap. She finds a way to help people any way she can, but now she needs our help.

A couple of months ago, Danielle was diagnosed with stage 2 metastatic invasive ductal carcinoma. She is receiving a four-month course of dense chemotherapy, followed by surgery, post-op treatment, and probably radiation therapy. This intensive treatment means she cannot work for several months, and while she is in the process of applying for temporary disability benefits, it will be quite a while before she can receive the financial help she needs.

We put this fundraiser together so that Dani can use every drop of her energy to fight this disease. We'd love for her to make art and spend time with her baby niece on the precious few "good days" she has during these months of intense treatment, rather than having to worry about paying her bills. Every dollar donated will go straight to Danielle to cover her basic living costs so that when she beats this disease, she won't need to dig herself out of a huge financial hole.
