This Go Fund Me page has been put together by the family and friends of Danielle Cummer who, on December 7, 2018, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has already started her treatment to fight this terrible disease.
The outpouring of support and incredible response from Danielle’s community has been overwhelming. Everyone who knows Danielle knows she has a huge heart. Her cheerfulness and positivity is contagious, and her thoughtfulness touches everyone who she comes into contact with, especially all of her kindergarten students.
Danielle will be hospitalized for an extended period of time, and is therefore unable to work. We are asking for a financial donation so that she, her partner, Stephen, and her family can focus on her health and recovery. The expectation is that treatment will be from 3-8 months with more time for recovery.
Donations will be used for medical and everyday expenses- any unused contributions will be donated to a local cancer charity.
Thank you to all family and friends who have supported and continue to support Danielle and Stephen, her parents Don and Janet, her brother Dave and her grandmother Gloria (Hon), during this difficult time. Pre-made meals, coffee runs, and words of encouragement and love have been greatly appreciated.
As teachers, Danielle and Stephen have impacted so many students, parents and faculty at Lawrence Park School, Rolph Road, Bennington Heights and in her home community of Leaside, and he at Trinity College School and Crescent School (current).
Please help us by passing this message along.
We will do our best to update everyone on Danielle’s fight on this GoFundMe page. Thank you in advance for all of your kind words and generosity.
