Help Danielle Escape from Alcatrz

I'm starting this campaign on behalf of our friend Danielle.  If you're on this thread, that means that you're also interested in seeing Danielle achieve this goal.  She doesn't know I've done this, but I can't think of someone more deserving.

The Escape from Alcatraz triathlon is an iconic event comprised of a 1.5 mile swim in very cold water from Alcatraz Island, an 18 mile hilly and technical bike ride and an 8 mile run.

Danielle is one of the most decorated local amateur triathletes in Miami - landing in the top 3 of her division or top 3 of her gender during most races.

She's completed several Ironman races in the most greuling conditions, the Alligator Lighthouse swim and the Swim Around Key West - to name a few of the iconic events she's excelled in.

Let's help her cross this race off her bucket list.

Unfortunately, they raised the entry fee from $400 in 2016 to $750 in 2017.  The minimum we need to raise to get Danielle "registered" is $750.  Renting a bike is approximately $150 and lodging would be approximately $500.

If each of us donates $20, she'll be well on her way to being able to Escape from Alcatraz.
