My amazing sister, Danielle Anthoine, is only 39 and fighting for her life after a sudden brain hemorrhage on September 21. She is in a medically induced coma in the Neuro ICU at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center - Portland and faces a long road of intensive care and rehabilitation.
If you know Danielle, you know she’s one of the most loving and caring people you could ever meet. She always puts others first—whether through her years as a CNA, her current work as a property management leasing coordinator, and especially being a mom herself. Her children are her life.
When our mother’s life changed forever in 2017, Danielle dedicated herself to caring for my mom, making sure she had help whenever she needed it. Beyond spending her time and energy assisting my mother, she has supported her family financially for years.
Now, she needs our help. Danielle faces a long road ahead of ICU care, rehabilitation, and physical therapy, as she will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.
Danielle is one of the strongest—and yes, most stubborn—people I know, and we’re all praying that strength helps her recover from this traumatic event.
Please donate if you can and share this page to help Danielle get the care and time she needs to recover. If you are unable to donate, please send prayers and best wishes her way. It means more than you could imagine, for me and the rest of our family.
