Help Danielle and Jessica Lay Their Mother to Rest

Hello, my name is Danielle Sutton, my Sister, Jessica Sutton and I are reaching out in our time of great vulnerability and need. We are raising money to cover the final costs of laying our Mother, Linda Jo-Ann Sutton, to rest.

Our Mother was called home on the morning of July 24th, 2024, she was surrounded by those that love her and cared the world over for her. She was preceded by our Father, Daniel Richard Sutton Sr, who passed very suddenly on August 20th, 2001. They were married for 36 years at the time of his passing and up until the day she passed, our Mother never had eye's for another man, she wouldn't even entertain the idea of going out on a date with another man. To her, her one true love walked the earth and lived and all that was to happen was the passing of time for them to finally be reunited. That time has come and my Sister and I try to find solace and peace in that even though we miss our Mother dearly.

Our issue that we face now is that our Mother did no prior planning up to the time of her passing. She had no Living Will, no Trust, no Savings and sadly that we have found... no Life Insurance. This has left my Sister and I fully on the hook for everything and we are both struggling living paycheck to paycheck as it is. We have no extended family to turn to, no Aunts or Uncles, it's just us and this leaves us very scared.

We opted for a very small, simple cremation for our Mother with a Memorial Memento for my Sister and I. I fear we can not afford anything else and I worry anything else would be grandiose, and that was not my Mother.

I feel so shamed in asking for this, but I know there is no shame in asking for help when you truly need it. And right now, my Sister and I truly need it. Please help my Sister and I lay our beloved Mother to rest, your help to get us through this time will make the stress a little easier, the pain and loss are coming in waves but coupled with the financial stress of, "How will we get the money together to honor Mom's wishes and bring her home?" is very hard to navigate.

Every single penny raised will go directly to covering our Mother's funeral cost. Anything extra will be used for Grief Counseling for my dear Sister, my Sister was the primary caretaker of my Mother and was with her almost every waking hour of the day. She was her best friend and her partner in crime. My Sister is suffering heavily from this and I would love to be able to provide her with any supportive care that I can in this trying time.
