Hi Everyone — My name is Erika and I am Danielle’s sister in law.

Danielle is the strongest woman I have ever met and I would really like to give her and her family a helping hand financially, hoping you all can help.

As many of you know Danielle has Stage 4 Lung Cancer, she has remained so positive during her fight and continues to every day. But finances can cause a HUGE stress on anyone and that should be the last thing that she has to worry about in her condition. A MRI revealed a new tumor in her left pelvis which was not there in her July scan. Due to the pain and swelling she is having, it’s rough on her body working and doing daily things. If we can all pitch in a bit to help The Peters Family out I would be forever grateful and so would they. Sharing this post helps a ton too ❤️ #DANISTRONG

Here is her most recent update 9/19/24:

I’ve been having pain again in my left leg/ butt/ hip area. My oncologist wanted me to go to the ER to get my pelvis MRI quicker than next week because of the pain. She knew something was wrong. I got the results that I have a new tumor in my left pelvis. It wasn’t shown in July on my scans because it didn’t exist yet. It grew within a month or so and shows that it’s a 7.5 cm tumor. I may be doing radiation or maybe not. My oncologist is going to call the radiation oncologist to discuss a plan that seems the safest for me. I’m going to get a biopsy of that area to see if it’s a new genetic mutation. I could maybe get chemotherapy to shrink it and then radiation because it’s very invasive to that area and can cause more harm to other areas. I’ll be getting a cat scan asap to make sure everything still looks good and there’s no new areas besides the new tumor. Much needed prayers please! I know all of the prayer warriors are constantly praying for me. Not the news I wanted but we’ll get through this just as I have been. I will continue to kick this cancer’s ass!!
