Heather is raising this fundraiser for her sister Danielle and Danielle’s family during an overwhelming crisis. A few weeks ago, Danielle was crossing in a crosswalk on an e-scooter with the walk sign on when she was hit by a car. In a terrible turn of events, the driver then mistook the gas pedal for the brake and hit Danielle again. Danielle suffered a broken tibia and fibula in her leg and had to undergo surgery to have a rod and screws placed. Since then, Danielle has been unable to work. As if that were not enough, Danielle is now back in the hospital battling DKA and blood clots in the lungs while the family is also facing the loss of their home.

Danielle has three children and a husband, Geoff, who has been unable to work because he has been caring for the kids through all of this. Right now, Danielle and the family are doing everything they can just to make it through each day. The funds raised will go toward helping keep them off the streets and making sure they have food during this incredibly difficult time. Please consider helping in any way you can.
