For most of her life, Danielle has been everything to everyone around her. A selfless and loving mother to her two incredible young men, a fiercely loyal friend to those of us lucky enough to be in that circle, a tireless advocate for her patients, and a loving wife to her sweet husband, Dan. Danielle is the epitome of a true helper. But sometimes even the helpers need help.

Most of you know that Danielle has been dealt blow after blow over the past several years - chronic illness, autoimmune nightmares, misdiagnoses, surgical interventions that made everything worse, and yet she shows up for everyone else in her life.

But now, she and her family are truly struggling with all of the battles life is throwing her way. Dan was out of work for an extended period due to an injury, and Danielle has not been able to work the job she loves due to yet more health problems. She has been off of work without pay for quite some time, and there is no projected timeframe as to when she may be able to return - if at all. As a nurse, she is painfully aware of her conditions, the treatment she needs, and the possible outcomes that range from recovery to surgical interventions, even the possibility of amputation.

Danielle and Dan need help. They would never ask for themselves, but as her friends, we have received her permission to create this GoFundMe in an attempt to help her and her family navigate this journey.
