Help Danielle Afford Life-Changing Jaw Surgery

Hi, my name is Danielle! I would appreciate any help for my upcoming bilateral TMJ replacement surgery and Leforte 1. I have condylar hyperplasia, anterior disc disorder, mandibular asymmetry, and joint deterioration. This has led to jaw and ear pain, dental problems (teeth are canting on one side and have wear), facial asymmetry, problems speaking, muscle atrophy, and has taken a toll on my quality of life and self-esteem. I was put into braces to fix my bite for surgery in January, where I had to pay $7,362 out of pocket. My jaw surgeries will be $59,171 out of pocket because I do not have insurance that will cover it. I have some money saved up, but I would appreciate any and all help. This would be completely life-changing for me.

Clinical Findings (December 2024):
- Facial Asymmetry: Lower jaw deviated 7 mm to the right; upper midline centered.
- Occlusion: Overbite of 2 mm, overjet of 1 mm, mandibular protrusion of 5 mm, lateral protrusion 0 mm (right) and 10 mm (left).
- Palpation: Discomfort in bilateral TMJs and masseteric regions; audible crepitation noted via stethoscope.
- Dentition: Missing teeth #19 and #30 with dental compensation for mandibular deviation.
- Imaging Results (January 2025):
- MRI: Right TMJ exhibits globular disc morphology with persistent anterior displacement and disc tear. Left TMJ disc and joint show mild degenerative changes.
- CT: Bilateral TMJ degenerative changes, joint space narrowing, and condylar surface irregularities without significant subluxation.
Assessment:Danielle appears to have an overgrowth process affecting the left TMJ), contributing to
mandibular asymmetry and functional impairment.
I would also like to add that I have been isolating myself because of this and I have a lot of anxiety about social media. It's going to make advertising this difficult, and it is just really affecting my mental health. I really do appreciate any amount of support. Thank you.
