Hello everyone, my name is Danielle, or as some of you nay know me by, Severin Stargher.

I’m a Canadian living in Northern Ireland, and for the past several years, this place has become my home, my community, and the space where I’ve grown into the artist, mentor, and person I am today. I’m non-binary, I use they/he pronouns, and I’ve always tried to move through the world with compassion, creativity, and a fierce love for the people around me.

Who I Am:

I’ve spent the last fifteen years working across creative fields: alternative modelling, makeup artistry, special effects work, teaching, performing, writing, and helping people explore identity through art. My life has always been about transformation, empowerment, storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel safe to be their truest and fullest selves.

I am a supporting figure at Bizarre Boutique Creative Studio, where my makeup and model-coaching focuses on gender-affirming transformation, artistic expression, and building community. I’ve helped hundreds of people step into themselves with confidence and joy.

My art and my connections with people are the heart of my life.

My Reality:

I’m a disabled person living with long-term, chronic health conditions — including Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder (suspected hEDS), Fibromyalgia, Raynaud's Syndrome, Adenomyosis & severe menstrual-related abdominal issues, and Dysautonomia (suspected POTS) — along with ADHD, dyslexia, and executive dysfunction. These conditions deeply affect my daily life, causing me discomfort, pain, and making day-to-day tasks very difficult for me.

Because of them, I cannot work a traditional job. I depend on disability benefits to survive, and I’m slowly rebuilding my creative career in the ways my body allows. I can’t push myself beyond my limits without risking serious consequences to my health.

Despite everything I have faced in the last 5 years since my health took a turn for the worst, I’ve built a life here that feels safe. Stable. Mine. And I'm so proud of how far I've come.

Why I Need Help:

To stay in the UK long-term, I need to apply for my Permanent Leave to Remain — and the cost of the permit alone is £3,025.

Because I’m disabled, because I’m not able to work full-time, and because I live on very limited income, this amount is impossible for me to save on my own. There are no government fee waivers available for my route. And without this visa, I could lose my home, my community, my relationships, and the life I’ve worked so hard to built with so much care and intention over the years.

I’m asking for help because my survival depends on it.

I want to stay in the country where I’m safe, supported, and loved.
