Finland’s education system stood out to me because of its focus on student well being, creativity, and making learning enjoyable, which aligns with the kind of teacher I want to become. Recently, I was accepted into an exclusive study abroad program in Finland. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading education systems, gain new perspectives on teaching, and bring back strategies that will benefit my future students. The funds I am raising will go directly toward tuition, program and study abroad fees, international insurance, airfare, lodging, and meals.
