Hi everyone, my name is Daniela Ramirez. I am a first-generation Latina born to immigrant parents from Mexico, pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) to give back to my community. I’ve dedicated my career to helping children and families, especially those navigating the fear and challenges of deportation. Today, I need your help to overcome an unexpected and unjust hardship.

Why I Need Your Support:

I recently lost my job due to corruption and unfair practices by my former employer. This loss was devastating, compounded by the discrimination I faced due to my disability and ethnic background. Losing my job has left me struggling to cover daily living expenses, accumulated debt, and, most critically, my tuition for next semester.

My job provided a tuition benefit that allowed me to pursue my MSW, and without it, I am at risk of losing the opportunity to continue my education. As someone deeply committed to serving vulnerable children and families, this setback feels like a significant roadblock to fulfilling my dreams of making a difference.
