Daniel Yeadon's Story
Daniel Yeadon is a young man who has been battling cancer. He was first diagnosed when he was 19 years old and fought a long battle through radiation, chemo, and surgery. Daniel was cancer-free for several years. The rare lymphoma cancer returned with a vengeance in his neck 6 months ago and has metastasized to his chest and brain.
Daniel is in active treatment now. He is undergoing radiation and will soon be starting long rounds of chemotherapy on February 23. He is having port surgery on February 17. Daniel is fighting hard through all this treatment and is keeping a positive attitude, but he has also been very sick vomiting and feeling dizzy. It is very difficult for him to talk, eat, drink, and sleep because of the tumor. He has lost 70 pounds over the last several months. He also has tumors in his chest and has undergone 4 weeks of radiation there. They are pausing the chest radiation while they focus on the radiation in his neck and brain.
Daniel’s medical bills are mounting from all his treatment, scans, and doctors’ visits. We are trying to raise money to help with his medical bills so he can focus on getting better. It is very stressful to get daily medical bills in the mail and not have the ability to work right now to pay those bills. That is where we all come in. Even a small amount goes a long way when multiple people donate. We have known the Yeadon family for over 30 years and cancer has plagued this family. The Yeadons want to thank you in advance for helping Daniel through giving and your prayers. God is working! Daniel has recently had a shift and has been able to eat some, and this was the first week he hasn’t lost weight in months. We are so grateful for that. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and act of love.
