Help Daniel Varela Spend His Final Days Comfortably

Dear Family,

As many of you know, Daniel Varela aka our Brother/Uncle/Cousin Butch, has bravely elected to receive hospice care. It is his desire to spend this final time in his own home.

Unfortunately, the reality is that his condition has deteriorated to the point where he requires expensive, continuous caregiving services. It is truly not my preference to have to ask this of any of you, and I fully realize and agree that this is not the responsibility of any of you. But we are simply out of options.

I am requesting one time donations of any amount so that we may hire a caregiver for him until outside funding can be secured (which is in process, but takes time). Essentially Family, I am asking for your help in funding one month of his care.

It is my sincere hope that we can come together to help make this happen for Butch. I do not believe there is a lot of time left, and it would be wonderful if he could spend however long, just the way he pleases. Thank you for considering my request.
