Help Daniel Van Ackeren

For all those who want to help support Brenda and Dan Van Ackeren:

Dan has been having some significant health issues this fall and everything took a deep nose-dive the week of Thanksgiving. There are so many details, but he became very ill and ended up unresponsive, was rushed to the hospital where he was intubated in the trauma ICU. A week there just lead to more questions. He left  the hospital with additional infections, but he is home. He has been struggling and fighting to regain some semblance of health but his body is quickly deteriorating. They are seeing several specialists and trying to nail down a diagnosis, but right now we have more questions than answers. In the midst of all of this, Brenda was let go from her contract job because she was unable to work - She had to stay in the hospital with Dan! She could not leave him then and she can not leave him now. Dan is also unable to work until he gets better. That is if the doctors can actually get ahead of whatever is ravaging his body. He’s fighting on a number of fronts..not giving up, but it’s not easy.

 

Please give as your heart leads to help them with their rent, utilities, co-pays, and necessary medical treatments. Most importantly, please pray for Dan, Brenda, the boys, and Dan's medical team. Brenda will update as she is able.
