Help Daniel Repair His Car for His Kids
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Daniel, aka the Green Bear. I’m a single father of 2 lovely children: Johana Lynn, 16, and Charlie James, 14. I was a hard union bridge painter for many years, but almost 6 years ago, I fell 30 feet on the Massachusetts Turnpike when our safety deck failed. I broke my left wrist in 5 places, I broke my right ankle in 7 places and tore massive ligaments in my left knee. I’ve been through multiple surgeries for my knee and have done everything in my power to return to work. Unfortunately, things have been really hard for me and my family. I’ve been struggling for quite a while. I go to the food pantry once a week to get food for me and when the kids come over on the weekends.
Yesterday, while driving my Honda down Route Six near my home, my stabilizer on my car snapped. Thank God I was only doing 40 because I lost all steering on the right side of my car. I don’t have AAA, so it cost me $125 to have it towed to the local garage that’s a mile from my house. This afternoon, the garage called me and told me it was gonna cost me $2785, which I really don’t have, but I need the car to do things for my kids and to continue to work. I know a lot of people are struggling like myself, but if you If anyone of you, sisters and brothers, can find it in the kindness of your heart to help me in any way, I would truly appreciate your generosity. Sincerely, Bear.
