HELP TRIPLE NIP RECOVER FROM THE LISMORE FLOOD

Hello. My name is Daniel.

I was born and raised in the Northern Rivers and have been living in Lismore for the past 5 years.

I am a father and a son and a brother to many, a musician a poet and a damn good rap lyricist. I'm known as Triple Nip.

I've been performing on stages and in the streets of Byron Bay for the last 30 years. I like to think Ive been a positive ambassador of Hip Hop and have helped spread the love of it far and wide.

I'm also a disability support worker. Through music I am able to assist my clients/friends/brothers to achieve goals.

Writing, recording and performing original hip hop music with my clients brings untold amounts of happiness into these amazing young gentlemans lives. And also into mine.

Being a working musician and a musical support worker, over time I had accumulated a lot of audio and studio gear.

Instruments

Drum kits, guitars, keyboards, guitar peddles,P.A's,mixers,mics, turntables( vestax and technics 1200), loop peddles, computers,monitors(screens and speakers), stereo systems, portable amplifiers, samplers,projectors,speakers, cameras,leads,connectors,

power packs for nearly everything, audio interface,Midi keyboards.

The flood that occurred in Lismore on the 27/2/22 was nothing short of a natural disaster, leaving the entire CBD and all low lying areas around Lismore either completely destroyed or submerged in a toxic mix of stormwater,chemicals an mud.

The flood itself was bigger than anything ever recorded in this area. The water level reaching upwards of 15 metres high.

It's quite overwhelming listing the equipment that I've lost during all of this,not to mention all the hours of work put into music projects that were also lost on computers and hard drives taken by the flood.

Along with all our furniture and Appliances. Beds, couches cupboards, drawers, most of mine and my children's clothes, linen...it's all gone.

And to think of the personal items, bits and pieces and important documents and family memories that I've lost, is heartbreaking and this is felt for the whole town that has been destroyed.
