Help Daniel Recover

Hi, my name is Nick and my goal is to raise money this summer to help cover medical fees for Daniel's surgeries (the man on the cover). After my family and I helped sponsor a family in Kenya years ago, I reached out to the same nun we spoke with who is a part of the Sisters of St. Francis. I asked if they were in need of anything else in the community and she gave me Daniel's story.

Daniel is a 49-year-old who was doing carpentry jobs until he and his friend became the victims of a hit-and-run, leaving his friend dead on the spot and him badly injured on the right side of his body and blind in the right eye. While being hospitalized for 7 months, he was not getting proper treatment and his right leg needed amputation. Although he was discharged, Daniel undergoes a lot of pain and fears his left arm will also need to be amputated, as he and his wife cannot afford the medicine to treat it. With the family's past struggle due to medical bills such as his wife's bad arthritis and the loss of their crippled son, raising $1200 for the surgery and arm treatment will bring hope to him and his wife once more. If more money is achieved, it will go towards a leg prosthesis for Daniel.
