Help Daniel Rebuild After Vermont Flood
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
On a fateful day in July 2024, Daniel Hayes experienced an unimaginable loss. In less than 24 hours, more than 7 inches of relentless rain fell in Vermont, leading to catastrophic flash flooding. The once-peaceful stream beside his home in Richmond turned into a torrent, jumping its banks and causing extensive damage.
Daniel's house, garage, shed, and car were all wrecked by the floodwaters. Everything on the first floor was lost, and just recently, the car was deemed totaled as well. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.
Now, Daniel faces the daunting task of rebuilding his life from the ground up. Insurance will cover only a fraction of the damage, and the road to recovery is long and uncertain.
We are reaching out to you for help in this time of need. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Daniel get back on his feet, covering essential repairs, replacing lost belongings, and securing a new vehicle.
Your support means the world to Daniel as he navigates this difficult time. Even if you're unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others can make a huge difference.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
