Help Daniel pay Medical Expenses after seizures
Donation protected
Hello. My Father Daniel Fonseca has been a reporter for NBC News Telemundo in San Antonio for many years where he lives with his wife Madelyn. In September he suddenly started feeling ill and had his wife take him to the Hospital. That was the last thing he remembered until after three days of treatment, he woke up in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, and couldn't even recognize the loves ones that had come to visit him. The doctors explained to him that he was experiencing multiple seizures which resulted in memory loss, poor coordination and intense headaches. All because of a condition called hyponatremia (low sodium caused by dehydration and drinking too much water) just like Brooke Shields recently experienced. After spending a week in the Hospital ICU, his Medical Bills alone grew to tens of thousands of dollars. He is currently unable to drive or work due to the risk of experiencing another seizure at any moment. His medical insurance is covering a good portion of the bills, but still comes up short to cover his current expenses as well as future visits, MRIs, and other treatments and therapies that he will need to recover. He considers himself lucky to have a second chance considering others who have experienced hyponatremia do not survive. Please consider making a donation to support my Dad, he greatly appreciates all the love and support. Thank you.
