As many of you may know, my brother-in-law, Daniel Morton, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. While we are incredibly grateful that he has not had symptoms so far and the tumor has shown no growth, his medical team believes it is a low-grade glioma. This type of brain tumor requires ongoing care, testing, and close monitoring, and his doctors have recommended a biopsy to better understand how to treat it. He is scheduled for the biopsy tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27th, at 11. It will take approximately 4-8 weeks to get the full results of the biopsy and then they will determine his treatment options.
Daniel is a Haul Truck Driver for Vulcan and a proud father to three young children. He is the primary provider for their family. As you can imagine, the uncertainty of this diagnosis has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on their family. We are asking for support to help cover their medical expenses, travel to appointments, and everyday needs while he focuses on his health and family.
If you feel led to give, pray, or simply share their story, we would be so grateful! Daniel and Anndee are so thankful for their community of friends, family, coworkers, and church family and all of the support you have given them so far.
