I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of my friends, Danny & Maggie Moore and their family. Please read below!

On Monday, August 18th, our family experienced an unthinkable loss. Daniel Moore, a father of seven and grandfather, suddenly passed away.

Dan’s passing leaves behind seven children—four adults and three teenage daughters—as well as his infant granddaughter. His kids had already endured the heartbreak of losing their mother to cancer in 2021. Now, in just a few short years, they are facing the unimaginable loss of both parents.

In the months leading up to his passing, Dan had been making incredible progress. He was working, saving, and preparing to move into a new home with his daughters. We were so proud of him and hopeful for their future together. His loss has left us all completely blindsided.

Right now, all seven siblings, two fiancées, one baby granddaughter, and (of course) all the dogs are gathered together under one roof for the first time since their mom’s funeral. There is deep grief, but also something sacred in this togetherness—sharing stories, tears, laughter, and love.

Our immediate need is to cover the costs of Dan’s cremation and urn. Beyond that, we are doing our best to provide stability for his three teenage daughters—keeping them in school, giving them a safe home, and helping them heal after such tremendous loss. As a family, we were already stretched thin financially, and the added responsibilities and costs are overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for help during this heartbreaking time. Your generosity will go directly toward Dan’s cremation expenses and toward supporting his girls as they grow up without their parents.
