Dear Friends and Family,
We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt and urgent request for support for Daniel Kale. Daniel is a wonderful son and friend whose future was just beginning after finishing college and starting a new job. In the fall of 2024, his life was put on hold when he was diagnosed with aggressive testicular cancer. While many men recover from this, Daniel's journey has been an incredibly difficult one. Despite enduring surgery, radiation, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and a stem cell transplant, the cancer has returned and learned to mutate against treatment. It has metastasized to his spine, requiring major surgery and months of painful physical therapy just to walk again. His only hope now is acceptance into a promising clinical trial.
This trial requires Daniel to fly to Nashville regularly, accompanied by a parent for support. His mother, Stacy, is currently recovering from recent heart surgery. His father, Doug, has been doing his best to manage the travel while also taking time off work, but the financial strain on the family is now overwhelming. We are desperately asking for your financial assistance to help the Kales cover travel expenses (transportation and meals) to and in Nashville for the clinical trial, and thousands of dollars of incurred debt for treatments and services not covered by insurance.
Daniel is determined to fight this. He wants to live. Please open your heart and help us relieve this impossible financial burden so the Kales can focus all their energy on saving Daniel's life.
With deepest gratitude,
Carla Graham
