Help Daniel Johnson Heal and Recover

My name is Misty Johnson. I am Daniel Johnson's mom. I am starting this GoFundMe for him because he does not have insurance and needs help with his medical bills, prescriptions, and medical supplies to care for his wounds. He also could really use an adjustable bed during this time of recovery. His father and I are helping as much as we can but this is very tough because I am the sole provider for our family. His father is disabled and unable to work.

As many of you already know, Daniel was an innocent bystander. He was sitting on a porch smoking a cigarette, taking a break while getting a haircut from a friend on New Year's Eve, when a girl pulled up out of nowhere and began firing a .40 caliber gun at the house. He was shot in the abdomen with a hollow point bullet.

He had emergency surgery that morning. He was cut from sternum to belly button. The bullet exploded inside and destroyed his small intestines, hit his kidney, pancreas and shattered his 11th rib. He still has part of the bullet in his pancreas. We are very blessed he is still with us. He has a long recovery in front of him.
