"My name is Laura Beacham. I am raising money to help my sister Martha Merrill Graham. On 6.21.21 at about 8:10am, her husband Daniel suffered a major stroke and has a long recovery ahead of him. The left side of his body is still paralyzed. It's not looking good as far as recovery goes. He might be wheelchair bound for awhile, even after rehab. So everything is going to change for Daniel and Martha. The neurosurgeon that performed surgery on him said that Dan had 2 blocked arteries, one in his neck and one above that, and they put a stint in. He would have died on 6.21 if Martha wasn't there to call for an ambulance. We are counting our many blessings here that she was there when it happened. He's currently in the ICU and should move to regular inpatient later this week, if all goes well.
