My son, Daniel Delanda, is facing charges for something he did not do. As his mother, I have watched the court process unfold and it has been heartbreaking. Daniel’s public defender and the district attorney seem to be friends, often laughing and joking together in court. Despite this being Daniel’s first offense with no prior record, they are trying to give him 8-10 years. Just yesterday, they offered a deal of 8-10 years with 2 strikes. If Daniel doesn’t accept, he could face up to 25 years at trial. We need help to hire a private attorney, and we simply cannot afford it on our own.

With a private attorney, Daniel will get real representation. Private attorneys focus on their clients and have resources to investigate the case thoroughly. The public defender never did any investigation and relied only on what the DA provided. We need help to ensure Daniel gets the fair chance he deserves. As God is my witness, he did not do what they are claiming he did.

Daniel also has a daughter who adores him and misses him so much. This situation has been incredibly hard on her, and she longs to have her father back home.
