Help Daniel Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant

UPDATE 2/17/25

Daniel has yet to be transported anywhere or accepted because he has WV Medicaid and apparently WV Medicaid isn’t a high paying insurance, Yale did say they would take him, if we could cover the 50k transport fee. Now his Medicaid is still pending being it’s been The Weekend and today was a holiday, it will be approved but it’s been prolonged . He is sedated and intubated for the past two days fighting & resting. We are staying hopeful that by tomorrow we get an approval.

Hi everyone, you may know me or you may not but I hope this reaches people who care and understand. I have a brother who is 34 years old and has ended up in the ICU for liver failure and poor kidney function. He needs immediate serious care & a liver transplant as he is fighting for his life right now. Some of you know my brother & if you don’t he is a devoted dad & has his girlfriend who loves him very much. We just got news that he will be transferred to Pittsburg tomorrow to a liver specialist. As anyone can imagine a liver transplant, medical expense’s, traveling, food & hotels are going to be through the roof as his girlfriend needs to be with him throughout all of this she won’t be able to be at work and we have no idea how long the road ahead of Daniel will be. Anything helps but most of all please send your prayers to our family for my brother to get through this. Both of our parents passed at an early age & I do not want that fate for my brother or his daughter. She deserves to have her dad raise her & we are fighting really hard for him right now. Anything will help, a prayer, a dollar anything. We appreciate all the support and love.
