Hey folks, my name is Daniel and I’ve been playing guitar for about 17 years. I’ve done it professionally, hosting open mics, playing gigs, working with a wide variety of artists across a range of genres. I have always tried to play a part in bringing the music community together, and my entire journey is culminating in “Subterra,” the album that I’m recording at Sonivore Studio in Santa Cruz, CA. The name of the album refers to the musical underground of this city that I’m highlighting, featuring some of the best musicians you haven’t heard of (yet) and some pros that you’ve definitely heard before. It’s been an insanely fun collaborative effort between visual artists, photographers, engineers, multiple bassists, drummers, singers, and pianists but I need your help to finish this thing so it can see the light of day and be heard by anyone. I’m trying to respect artists by paying them respectfully, and recording, mixing, and mastering ain’t cheap either. Your contribution will help pay these artists and engineers and hopefully play a part in growing the Santa Cruz music scene.
