Hello my name is Daniel. I recently injured my knee and I am unable to work. I did not injure it on the job so it's not covered on workman's comp insurance. I've worked for a construction company for the past 5 years and I don't get paid that much and they don't offer health insurance. So at my age there are not a lot jobs out there for me. So if don't know living in California it is very expensive our rent is very high and gas prices are $1.20 per gallon then the rest of the country and food prices have gone up drastically. If you make less than 75,000 a year in California your poverty level. The cost of living is very high so buying health insurance was low on my list of things to purchase. I also have type 2 diabetes. my doctor bills are starting to pile up. along with the bills coming in for my knee injury and having to see a specialist and surgery. I can't have surgery until I get my blood sugar under control. I applied for state disability but that's going to take a couple weeks before I hear back on whether I'm approved or not. I've always had a good job and worked hard all my life they took money out of my paycheck for disability insurance and this would be the first time I've ever been disabled so I just need a little help to pay my bills until they approve me for disability Thank you for your time in reading my story and for any donation you could send me.
