Hi, everyone. My name is Daniel Avila, and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm currently applying to serve a full-time mission. I was baptized 4 years ago, on October 2nd, 2020, and ever since then, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has completely turned my life around. I didn't have God in my life before then, but my grandmother recently told me a story about how I would always beg my family to take me to church when I was a toddler. Her exact words were, "I always knew you would do something amazing with your life."

I spent the last four years making excuses for not going on a mission, but I know for a certainty that the Lord is commanding me, and I must obey. He's preparing a path for me, and four months from now, I know I will be on a mission, serving His Son's Church.

This GoFundMe is because I am currently reaching the age limit to serve a young adult mission, and I need help to pay off current debts. My decision to serve a mission was last minute, but I know that I need to do this, and I know the Lord will provide a way. Anything helps and will be appreciated for the entirety of my life, as I continue to testify about God's forgiving nature, and His loving children. Thank you so much.
