Update 10/22/25

It’s with broken hearts that we share that Daniel passed away. He fought so hard and was surrounded by love until the end. We are deeply grateful for all the prayers, support, and donations that helped our family through this unimaginable time.

The funds will now go toward funeral expenses and helping Ashang and their son as they navigate life without him. Thank you for standing with us - your kindness has meant more than words can ever express.

Dear family, friends, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister and her family during an unimaginably difficult time. Her husband, Daniel, is in the ICU after a sudden, life-threatening heart event, and the doctors are doing everything they can to keep his heart stable.

Daniel is a devoted husband, a loving father to their 7 year old son, Ben, and someone whose big, bright smile can light up any room. My sister has been by his side day and night, and our close family is helping care for Ben and keep things going at home.

The emotional and financial strain has been heavy. Between medical bills and daily expenses, it’s become too much for anyone to manage alone. We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden so she can focus on what truly matters: Daniel’s recovery and their time together.
