My name is Daniel Gómez, I am 28 years old and currently a resident in the Master’s program in Internal Medicine at Rafael Landívar University in Guatemala.
I am deeply committed to my studies and proud to hold the number one academic average in my first year of residency—and I’m on track to maintain this standing this year.
Despite receiving a 50% scholarship from the university, I am facing significant financial challenges. I have student loans that I can no longer cover, and I urgently need to purchase essential medical equipment to continue my training and provide the best care possible.
My ultimate goal is to become a cardiologist and serve the people of Guatemala, a country with limited resources and a great need for dedicated medical professionals.
