Help Daniel, a Deserving Student

Juan Daniel Pena Laverde, an outstanding graduating high school senior in North Carolina, needs financial support to attend NC State, where he was accepted early, to achieve his dream of becoming a computer science engineer. Daniel has a 4.68 GPA, is ranked 2nd in his class, is an athletic scholar, plays tennis and soccer, and is a member of multiple honor societies. He is also a student ambassador and volunteers with non-profit organizations to supply soccer equipment for children. Unfortunately, despite all of his hard work over the last four years, he faces a financial barrier to attending NC State next year due to his residency status. He is not eligible for federal funding and has not received academic scholarships from the university as of this time. Please help this deserving student continue his academic dream of attending NC State. He must respond by May 1st to accept his seat, which depends on his ability to pay tuition. His mother is an immersion teacher who will be grateful for any help to make her son's dream come true. All of the funds will go toward Daniel's college expenses and provide him the opportunity to achieve his academic goals and be a change agent in our society.
