Our friend Danie needs your help! They’re a nonbinary queer Mexican Jew living in Los Angeles, a full-spectrum doula and active member of their community co-parenting twins and going to school full time. Danie has had a particularly difficult year: after suffering a disabling injury in 2024 that caused a significant loss of income and setbacks in school, they went through the LA wildfires in January and in June lost their car and only source of income. Due to their injury, difficulty in securing a new vehicle, and a lack of public transit, Danie is currently unable to work or pick up their medicine and their savings are gone.

Initial donations (up to $2,000) will be used to secure October rent and utilities; any amount beyond that will go toward a used car so Danie can get back to work and back on their feet.
